A new conversation initiated by your business resets the timer for any previous conversation with that customer.
Template messages and Conversation type:
Marketing, Utility, and Authentication conversations can only be initiated by sending a pre-approved template message.
Each template message opens a conversation window of its corresponding type (Marketing, Utility, or Authentication) lasting for 24 hours.
Pricing is based on the conversation window type.
Once a customer replies within the window, you can send regular text messages without additional charges.
Example:
Sending a marketing template at 9 AM opens a 24-hour Marketing conversation window.
Sending a utility template at 10 AM opens a separate 24-hour Utility conversation window. You will be charged for both conversations.
