Connect Your WhatsApp
Discover how Business Service Providers (BSPs) enhance communication between WhatsApp Business Accounts and customer management platforms. Easily migrate or connect your WhatsApp number with AdsEra.
This article delves into Business Service Providers (BSPs), the essential intermediaries that facilitate seamless communication between WhatsApp Business Accounts and customer management platforms.
What is a BSP?
In the realm of WhatsApp Business API, a Business Service Provider (BSP) functions as a bridge between your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) and the platform you use to manage customer interactions, such as AdsEra.
Think of a BSP as a translator. It enables your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) to communicate effectively with the platform you use to manage customer relationships, like AdsEra. This platform allows you to send messages, manage contacts, and monitor your communication performance.
Without a BSP, your WABA cannot connect to these platforms. The BSP ensures compliance with WhatsApp's guidelines and facilitates access to WABA. Additionally, BSPs provide valuable features such as automated replies, chatbots, shared inboxes, and integrations with other business tools.
Example of BSPs:
Several companies offer BSP services for WhatsApp Business API. Here are two examples:
Twillio
Infobip (partner platform for AdsEra) https://www.infobip.com/
Migrating from Other BSPs?
If you're currently using a different BSP for your WhatsApp Business Account, migrating to AdsEra may require additional steps. These steps will vary depending on the specific BSP you are currently using.
The migration process involves 3 main assets:
A source WABA - The account the phone number is currently registered to.
A phone number - The number will be migrated.
A destination WABA - Your AdsEra account
We will initiate the number migration process (AdsEra Team).
Step 1: Disable Two-Step Authentication
Before starting the migration process, you need to disable two-step verification for the associated phone number.
To disable 2FA:
Go to WhatsApp Business Manager.
Navigate to Phone Numbers > Configurations > Two-step verification.
Select the option to disable. If you see an option to enable, it means two-step authentication is already off.
Step 2: Notify Your Product Specialist
Step 3: Re-Enable Two-Step Authentication
After migrating to AdsEra, re-enable two-step authentication to secure your account and maintain your OBA(Official Business Account) status.
